Supporting the work of NAHA services

Our Migrant Women’s Support Program values the right of all people to live in safety and to be treated with respect. We deliver services that offer a range of culturally sensitive supports.

Culture is never an excuse for violence. Domestic and/or Family violence is not acceptable in any community or culture.

Our bilingual bi-cultural staff of Migrant Women’s Support Program (MWSP) work with women of diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds who are in unsafe relationships.

MWSP works with migrant women and children most at risk of violence.

Our program provides for culturally sensitive needs, conducts risk assessments, safety planning, information, advocacy, referrals and other relevant services.

We understand and respect the importance of our clients’ confidentiality.

MWSP works in partnership with domestic violence services and other service providers including professional interpreters.
