Domestic and Family Violence: Risk Management
An advanced level course in conducting risk assessments, planning for safety, and meeting obligations under the Family Safety Framework.

- 10 Hour course (over two days)
- Specialist domestic and family practitioners, or practitioners who regularly work with vulnerable families and/or adult victim-survivors of domestic and family violence.

This in-depth course will assist you to:
- Understand the purpose of assessing for risk in domestic and family violence
- Identify factors that indicate risk of serious harm or death in domestic and family violence
- Understand South Australia’s multi-agency response to risk – Family Safety Framework
- Engage people in conversations to assess risk
- Conduct a risk assessment
- Make a referral to Family Safety Meeting
- Respond to risk through safety management strategies
- Understand key principles to document risk and safety
