How to make a referral

If you want to refer someone to Women’s Safety Services SA, please follow the steps below. In an emergency, call 000.

You can call the Domestic Violence Crisis Line on 1800 800 098.
You can give the number to your client to call, or call it on their behalf if you have their consent.
It is best to make the call while the person you are supporting is with you.
This number is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If you can’t stay on hold, you can leave a message when prompted and a Crisis Line worker will call you back as soon as possible.

Please avoid calling our administrative line or sending emails, as we cannot guarantee an immediate response.
